Fuel Surcharge
Fuel surcharges will apply as percentage of the base freight value. These surcharges may vary from time to time depending on the world fuel prices and charges applied by the airlines. Notification of changes will be available from www.dpex.com and on our invoices.

Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) Fee
Consignor/sender may apply for overseas duties & taxes and custom clearance charges to be paid by the consignor/sender. The standard administration fee is S$20.00 or 2% of duties and taxes; whichever is higher per shipment.

Shipment Insurance
Consignor/sender may arrange insurance for high value shipments through DPEX Worldwide. Insurance costs are from a minimum of S$50.00 or 5% of the insured value per consignment.

Custom Clearance Fees
Custom clearance fees requiring formal entry clearance are not included in the standard freight charges. Each destination may apply a fee for such clearances in accordance with local market conditions. Should the consignee/receiver refuse to pay the charges, the consignor/sender will be liable for the charges.

Custom Fines/Penalties
Custom fines imposed by overseas customs authorities for incorrect or undervalued shipment declarations will be passed back to the shipper together with an administration fee of S$20.00 per shipment.

Appointed Broker Fee
In the event that a consignee/receiver chooses to use their own appointed customs broker, DPEX Worldwide will hand over the documentation to the appointed broker for custom clearance and any brokerage fees charged by the appointed broker will be borne by the consignee/receiver or the consignor/sender.

Irregular Sized Package collection/delivery in Singapore
An extra charge of S$50.00 per shipment will apply to the following conditions.
- Any single package that has a dimension exceeding 120cm or when any pallet has a base dimension exceeding 120cm or;
- Any single package with an actual weight of 50kgs and above

Singapore Import Permit Charge / Export Permit Charge
A permit charge of S$40.00 is applicable, per consignment. Example of permits: GST Permit or Restricted Item Permit, Temporary Export Permit.

Remote Area Surcharge – Jurong Island
An extra charge of S$30.00 per trip is applicable for any collection or delivery in Jurong Island.

Remote Area Surcharge – Sentosa Island
An extra charge of S$10.00 per trip is applicable for any collection or delivery in Sentosa Island.

Temporary Emergency Surcharge
In view of developing novel coronavirus situation, DPEX Singapore will impose a Temporary Emergency Surcharge on certain countries. For more information, please refer to DPEX website (www.dpex.com)

Unacceptable Shipments
DPEX Worldwide may refuse to export or handle certain commodities if
- Classified as hazardous, dangerous, prohibited material by IATA, ICAO or any local government body.
- Not accompanied by accurate shipping document.
- Specified in clause 10 in the Terms of Carriage (e.g. jewellery, currency, antiques etc)

Delivery to P.O. Boxes
DPEX Worldwide does not accept delivery to P.O Boxes except in certain Middle East destinations. In all cases, consignor/sender should provide a telephone contact number for the consignee/receiver.

Inspection
DPEX Worldwide may open and inspect shipments without prior notice to the consignor/sender.
